Only yesterday we met with Chicago Auxiliary Bishops:

Mark Bartosic, Robert Casey, Jeffrey Grob, and Robert Lombardo,

as well as other pilgrims who attended the National Eucharistic Congress.

We started with Holy Hour in Holy Name Cathedral Church, where Bishop Lombardo led us to contemplate the Good News.

That was the best way to prepare for thoughtful conversation around the subjects of Holy Eucharist and Eucharistic Revival, and how we can keep our “hearts on fire”.

Like the Lord’s disciples, we can be on fire for God at events like the Eucharistic Congress, but how do we stay like this when we come back to the world?

This meeting was a great help to put little wood into the fire and keep it going.

  • Stay close to Eucharist, attend daily Mass
  • Join or create a community that will encourage you
  • Visit the Eucharistic Revival website for materials on “Walk With One

I also want to invite you to “Night of Mercy” which will happen on Wednesday, Dec 11, 6 pm – 8:30 pm in Holy Name Cathedral.

Let’s stay on fire and bring light to the world!
