It was my second time at the National March for Life!

What an atmosphere?!
What a people?!
What a speakers?!
What a day?!

It all started two months ago when I booked my ticket, I knew I had to be there after experiencing last year’s “vibe”.

And it all started yesterday at 12:10 am, the alarm clock went off, and it was time to get up.

I was, thinking of yesterday’s late afternoon announcement about Vice President of the United States JD Vance as a special guest at March for Life.

Did I pack everything?

Is my backpack too big for security?

Where is my new Media pass going to take me?

There is usually a lot going on in my head before covering some important events.

But I didn’t wake up at midnight to catch my 6 am flight to Washington D.C.

There was one more thing going on that night, 12-hour adoration for life, by the Archdiocese of Chicago. So I decided to “leave everything” there and then go to the airport, and that was a good idea!

Smooth flight, grabbing a coffee in Aroma Express, and heading to Washington Monument.

And that hits you! The atmosphere starts picking up, so many young people, and absolutely everyone is Pro-Life! Hundreds and then thousands of people and more and more are coming, meeting my friend Luke, getting introduced to Evan from Spirit Juice, and then heading as close to the stage as I can.

It’s around 35 degrees, but it is getting hotter and hotter with some of the biggest Pro-Life personalities, politicians, abortion survivors, and more

  • Speaker of the House Mike Johnson,
  • Florida Governor Ron DeSantis
  • U.S. Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ)
  • Bethany Hamilton, professional surfer, mother, and pro-life advocate
  • Dr. Catherine Wheeler, Obstetrician
  • Josiah Presley, Abortion Survivor
  • Lila Rose, President of Live Action
  • Beverly Jacobson, CEO of Mama Bear Care
  • Jennie Bradley Lichter, President-Elect of the March for Life
  • The Most Reverend Daniel E. Thomas, Chair, Committee on Pro-Life Activities, USCCB
  • Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison, President of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod
  • Hannah Lape, student, and President of the Wheaton College Voice for Life

the crowd gets louder and louder, and then we get a video from President Trump! And then Vice President of the United States of America JD Vence shows up and everyone is crazy happy!

How not to be?

Our government switched 180 degrees and in the first week, we saw so many Pro-Life decisions that we have ever seen.

After the speeches ended, I headed out trying to find myself in crowds of thousands, and there were so many people marching! It’s estimated that there were 150,000 people, that would double the number from last year!

It was a pure joy walking by so many people and taking photos of smiles, Pro-Life signs, met some friends on the way, Sisters of Life from New York, Jeffrey Bruno.

It is a very powerful event, very encouraging and inspiring, it is proof that we are not alone in this fight, that we have to keep going against all ods and defend the true.

We know who wins, we know who is the winner, Lord Jesus Christ!
