St. Clement Church in Chicago is well known for its outreach to young people and for organizing many beautiful events throughout the year.
This time, the Cathedrals Tour stopped in Chicago at St. Clement Church. It was a concert by Matt Maher and Sarah Kroger, well-known personalities in the musical world, especially worship music.
We often experience great light conditions in churches, which can be navigated!
Music is the universal language of mankind.

Description
To photograph in low light conditions, it takes a few things to still be able to take good photos:
- Gear and equipment
- Knowledge of the photography principles
- Camera settings
- Wisdom, experience
When all those pieces come together, we can produce amazing results.
I would recommend, “prime” lenses, lenses without zoom, for example, 20mm f/1.8, 85mm f/1.4, or at least f/2.8 zoom lenses. That allows you to open up the aperture and let more light in, with keeping the shutter speed and ISO at reasonable levels.
Working many times in this kind of condition allows me to “automatically” take photos I am looking for. Positioning myself is also important, it helps to find a unique perspective and stand out from other photographers.
