Cheyenne had a big smile, and she wasn’t just happy—she was joyful when I saw her for the first time. She was talking to my friend Jeffrey Bruno. I joined the conversation, we exchanged warm welcomes, and he introduced me to her. She was one of the Perpetual Pilgrims!
Yes—she had walked all the way from Indianapolis to Los Angeles, starting on May 18th and spending over a month crossing the entire country along the St. Katharine Drexel Route. Through the entire conversation that smile never left her face. Cheyenne was a living witness to the Holy Eucharist and to what it truly is: the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I snapped a quick selfie with her to create another great memory.
Everyone was excited for what was about to begin: the Holy Mass and the Eucharistic Procession around the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in the “City of Angels.”
A long line was forming to enter the church, filled with religious sisters, people of all ages, and entire families.
I was excited too—another “big event,” another Eucharistic Procession. I’ve attended so many in the past year, especially since the Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis.
This is it—the Eucharistic Revival is happening right before our eyes!
Like someone said, it’s truly a “Eucharistic Renaissance.” I love that.
And yes, let’s not forget (for the hundredth time!) that the new Pope is from the USA. Jeffrey and I were talking about how Poland needed a Pope in 1978—and perhaps the USA needed a Pope in 2025.
I’m truly excited about this Catholic Revival—an upcoming revolution, a revolution of love.
God has something beautiful in store for us—we only need to trust Him.
The sight of thousands of people gathered inside the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels was overwhelming: hundreds of religious sisters, clergy, bishops, and Cardinal Pierre, who celebrated the Holy Mass for us.
And there I was, just pressing a button at the right moment—trying to capture these moments of grace so they can go out into the world and maybe inspire someone.
It’s all about the small moments—
Moments of grace.
Our entire life is made up of these moments.
We just need to live them—
But let’s make them worth living—
Like He did for us—at Calvary!
