Naples, Florida, Travel Guide

Hi! I decided to do a travel guide about this unique city in Florida. I was living in Naples for 6 months and I visit it around twice a year. It is hard not to fall in love with this beautiful and vibrant place, a great selection of restaurants, perfect weather (November – April), beaches with white sand, and nightlife.

I want to give you tips and tricks about places to visit, where to eat and hang out, and where to stay. I hope this travel guide will help you with visiting Naples and taking the most of it! Leave me a comment if you have any questions on suggestions.

When to visit Naples?

The best time to visit Naples is from November to March – April. Temperatures are usually between 70-86 degrees with a few days in the 60s and nights in the 50s. The coldest period is between February and March you can have 2-3 weeks of low 50s during the day.

The best is November, December, and January. All other months got some crazy humidity that is not allowing you to go out without sweating. Also, the summer months make Naples really empty, with no tourists, and businesses really slow down (in case you looking for work here). Winter months are busier year by year, more people find out about this lovely city and visit it or even buy a house.

How do you get to Naples?

The best way is to rent a car at the Fort Myers airport or take an Uber. The drive from the airport to downtown Naples is around 35 min. Travel around Naples is 20-25 min max. Going to downtown Fort Myers will take you 45 min and a similar time to Marco Island.

A great idea is to visit Miami (1h 40 min drive, check out this quick guide). Key West is a very popular place I would recommend taking a list of 2 days to visit Key West as it takes around 5 hours to drive to get there from Naples.
