It’s worth noting that tourism to Antarctica is heavily regulated and restricted, many areas are protected and only a small number of tour operators are authorized to take visitors to the continent. Also, most tourism is limited to the Antarctic Peninsula and nearby islands, the rest of the continent is nearly inaccessible to visitors.
