My friend Amanda recommended me a coffee shop to check out “Loba Pastry”, I was intrigued because I had never heard this name before! I contacted my friend Matthew to schedule a long-due meeting and chat about our travels and plans.

I hopped on the bus and was at Loba Pastry a little before 9 am on Thursday, right from outside, I could see a nicely designed little coffee shop, and I was not wrong. When I entered I saw a few wooden tables and people cheerfully chatting and calming music playing in the background. I ordered my casual set right away (espresso, cappuccino, and something to eat), and their pastry selection is very decent, they are bakery too after all! My Sourdough muffin was ready right away and after a few minutes my espresso shot, with water and a little wooden spoon was ready too, right after that I got my cappuccino.

Of course, I started taking photos first :), with the sun coming through the window watching the pedestrians, and passing cars on Addison Street I enjoyed a great muffin that stood out to me. Everything was served in ceramic glasses, which makes things taste better in my opinion, The cappuccino was perfect and I enjoyed the ambience of this coffee shop, sunny morning, and conversation with my friend!

Keep in mind that they do not allow laptops on the tables, they are very small coffee shops and it would take too much space if people spent there few hours and worked from there.
